Subject: Help Wanted for AHS : Publications Services Manager

Nikki Schmith- still in Worden, Illinois - region 2/Zone 6b

Hello, Robins!

I have just the announcement for those entrepreneurial spirits out there.  We are looking for an individual to work with us over the next few months while we define the growth of AHS publications.  This person should be flexible, patient and interested in creating new guidelines and effectivity for our publication sales efforts.  Interest should be stated in the next 14 days.  The opening is immediate and the transition needs to be completed ASAP.  The transition includes managing the move of 300+ boxes of publications from Elizabethtown, Kentucky to the new candidate’s location, in a climate controlled storage location.  This includes keeping inventory, and providing regular reports.  The how's and why's and who's and when's are all to be determined with the best candidate and their input.

Regular packaging and mailing of purchases might be required more than one time per week.  Mailings might include old journals, previous checklists, judging handbooks, etc.  Candidate should have knowledge of proper book shipping procedures and a desire to provide excellent customer service.  The position is in flux at this time because it is anticipated that traditional AHS book sales will soon be handled by Amazon Fulfillment Services.  It is envisioned that this new person will continue to handle bulk sales to the local clubs, stock at Amazon Fulfillment, manage inventory, provide regular reports, reconcile monies with the AHS Treasurer, handle communications with members regarding publications, and promote publications at regional and national events.

Supplies, postage, storage fees and other direct expenses covered by AHS.  A monthly stipend will also be considered, commensurate with experience.  Please contact Lois Hart at if you are interested in this position.

Due to unforeseen circumstances, this has to happen quickly and concisely.  You up to the challenge?  😊

Don’t delay and be nice, y'all!  It's easier.
